We train the most important dog in the world... YOURS!

At Best Behavior Dog Training our goal is to teach your dog's the skills they need to be wonderful companions.

Using motivational training methods, we instruct your dog in basic skills as well as help you find solutions to common canine problems. Best Behavior Dog Training believes in using humane training methods that are effective and fun.

Motivational training using praise and rewards allows you to improve your ability to communicate with your dog. When your dog clearly understands what you are asking, he is eager to comply. By using food, play and praise, you and your dog can become a great team and achieve your training goals.

Best Behavior has been training dogs on Florida's Treasure Coast for since 2004. In that time, Trainer Cecelia "Cissy" Sumner, CPDT-KSA, CBCC-KA has developed many custom training programs to fit the needs of her clients. All of Cissy's training is driven by motivation. She firmly believes that if we can open the path of communication with our dogs, they will be happily compliant. Her clients, canine and human, enjoy the results of positive dog training. From group companion dog manners classes to classes for dogs with aggression and excitement issues, Cissy and Best Behavior Dog Training have a program to fit you and your dog.

Cecelia "Cissy" Sumner came into dog training as a midlife career change. After 20 plus years in retail sales and management, dog training has become her passion.
